Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is the largest and most popular political party in Bangladesh. On September 1, 1978, the announcer of Bangladesh's independence and the then president Ziaur Rahman founded BNP. BNP believes in Bangladeshi nationalism. After the death of President Ziaur Rahman, his wife Begum Khaleda Zia took the helm of BNP. BNP led by Begum Khaleda Zia played a major role in the anti-dictatorship movement of the 80s in Bangladesh. BNP came to power by winning 140 seats in the 1991 national elections. After that, the party won a huge majority in the 2001 elections also. Tariq Rahman is currently serving as the acting chairman of BNP due to Begum Khaleda Zia's illness.

⏩He attached importance to human resource development. He converted the youth into human resources through technical training and sent them abroad.
⏩At least one person in every family will work to obtain a bachelor’s degree.
⏩He will make Nilphamari district illiterate.
⏩He will establish an eye camp in Domar and provide free services so that no one in Domar-Dimla is blind.
⏭️Construction projects of roadways, culverts, bridges, mosques, madrasas, temples, etc. will be undertaken.
⏩A project of 1 crore taka has been allocated for the development of Domar Municipality.
